The Main dans la Main Foundation was created by Carlo Crocco in 1998. Founder of the Swiss brand of watches Hublot in 1980, Crocco decided to use part of his company’s profits to develop projects for the benefit of the poorest and neediest children in developing countries.
The Foundation began by creating villages for orphaned children in the south of India in Tamil Nadu.
The various projects financed by Main dans la Main are currently managed in partnership with a local structure, TDH Core Trust in Tiruvannamalai.
Each year, the Main Dans La Main Foundation awards the MDM Prize (CHF 50,000) to a person who has particularly distinguished him/herself in a humanitarian program for the benefit of children.
